SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- Jay Burkhart, vice president of global marketing, aftermarket products and services, Federal-Mogul Corporation (OTCBB:FDMLQ) received the annual Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award today at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Awards program was established in 1975 to recognize individuals in the Automotive Aftermarket industry who have made noteworthy contributions to education, public or private, on any level, inside or outside of the industry.
"Jay has distinguished himself as someone who is concerned and dedicated to education within the aftermarket industry through his involvement with Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association," said Warren Mault, executive director, Northwood University. "He has taken an active role to stay apprised of changes in the industry related to information technology, market research and opportunities with legal, financial and governmental changes."
Burkhart is the current chairman of the executive board of the Car Care Council.
