Netuitive Now Predicts Performance Issues for Oracle Databases
Business Wire, Oct 4, 2006
Netuitive Software Integration With Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Dramatically Improves Performance Management of Database Environments
RESTON, Va. -- Netuitive, Inc., the leader in real-time analysis software for business service management (BSM), today announced that its real-time analysis software has been successfully integrated with Oracle Enterprise Manager. With this integration, Oracle Enterprise Manager customers are able to predict, diagnose and resolve Oracle database performance issues in real-time, dramatically improving the performance management of their database environments.
With Netuitive's software, Oracle Enterprise Manager customers now have the ability to monitor the service health of ERP, CRM and web-based environments that rely on Oracle databases. By automatically correlating any Quality of Service or hardware performance data with performance monitoring data from Oracle Enterprise Manager, Netuitive's software is able to provide customers with an end-to-end view of these services.
"The more time it takes for an organization to identify the root-cause of a performance problem, the less profitable the company becomes," stated Nicola Sanna, CEO of Netuitive. "With each passing minute, more and more productivity and money is wasted, especially if the problem is the result of a false alert. Oracle customers can now rely on Netuitive's real-time analysis software to quickly predict, diagnose and resolve performance issues. Not only does Netuitive eliminate false-positive alerts, it's able to predict trends two hours into the future."
In addition, Netuitive automates threshold administration and provides Trusted Alarms[TM] - the industry's most reliable indicators of impending service problems, helping Oracle customers reduce database administration costs, forecast application performance issues and speed mean time to resolution (MTTR) when slowdowns occur. With the Netuitive integration, Oracle Enterprise Manager customers are provided with a comprehensive performance monitoring solution that can automatically analyze and correlate performance data in real-time, increasing overall productivity and decreasing costs.
Over the last year Netuitive has completed integrations with five of the most widely used monitoring infrastructures - IBM, HP, CA, Microsoft and Oracle. Netuitive also licenses its Netuitive SI product to two leading systems management vendors, BMC and NetIQ, making it the most recognized real-time analysis software used in today's IT environments. With over 150 customers, Netuitive is giving companies the ability to see in real-time how infrastructure problems affect the overall health of systems and services and make critical business decisions accordingly.
