PAETEC Named Top Overall CLEC by ATLANTIC-ACM
Business Wire, Oct 9, 2006
FAIRPORT, N.Y. -- PAETEC Communications, Inc., today announced it has received two Carrier Excellence Awards from ATLANTIC-ACM, a Boston-based telecommunications research consultancy. PAETEC captured both the 2006 Metro Wholesale PRI Product Award and the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) Best-in-Class Service Partner Award. These awards are for the highest average ratings for PAETEC's PRI product and the highest overall ratings for service provision, respectively.
The award is based on the results of ATLANTIC-ACM's 2006 Metro Report Card, with over 5,000 individual ratings of companies' metro products and the operations behind those products. Both retail and wholesale business customers evaluated the providers' performance in key delivery areas including billing, customer service, provisioning, sales representatives, pricing, network, and brand, as well as in nine metro product areas.
"PAETEC's customers in both the retail and wholesale business categories reflected their appreciation for PAETEC's strengths among CLECs in providing metro market services," said Dr. Judy Reed Smith, CEO of ATLANTIC-ACM. "This award reflects the consistency of its operations and ongoing commitment to its customers."
"It is a great honor to receive these awards, particularly as they come as a result of end-user feedback," said PAETEC Chairman and CEO Arunas Chesonis. "It validates our philosophy of providing personalized solutions and unmatched service and support for each of our customers."
