Three Leading Houston Organizations Collaborate and Host Special Forum for Women Working in the Energy Industry

HOUSTON -- The American Marketing Association (AMA) Houston Chapter Energy Special Interest Group (AMA Energy SIG), in conjunction with Greater Houston Partnership and Women's Energy Network, will present "Energizing Your Career: How Women are Leading the Way in the Energy Industry" on October 12, 2006 from 4:30 PM until 8 PM at The Four Seasons, 1300 Lamar, Houston.

The forum will feature a panel of female executives including Cheryl Chartier, Director of Investor Relations, KBR; Claire Farley, CEO, Randall & Dewey and Amy Mifflin, Social Programs Coordinator, Marathon Oil Company, who will offer insights on career management for women in the energy industry. The event will also feature networking opportunities before and after the panel presentation.

"In response to feedback from attendees at past ESIG events, we have designed a program that balances valuable networking opportunities with top-notch, candid content from some of the industry's most sought-after women speakers," notes Sherri Scott, co-chair of the AMA Energy SIG.
