AUSTIN, Texas -- NetQoS([R]) Inc. will present methods to ensure consistent performance of converged voice and data networks at the Cisco IP Telecommunications Users Group (CIPTUG) 2006 annual conference, to be held Oct. 9-12 at the Phoenix Convention Center. CIPTUG is an independent, non-profit association recognized by Cisco as the official organization for customers using Cisco IP telecommunications products.

Session Description: Deploying VoIP can slow down data applications
significantly. In this presentation, Mao will cover ways to mitigate
the risks associated with VoIP deployments and quantify the impact of
VoIP on other business-critical applications. To ensure optimal
performance of a converged network, Mao will discuss a three-phased
management approach that includes:

1.  Conducting effective pre-deployment network assessments;
2.  Measuring the impact of VoIP on existing applications; and
3.  Performing ongoing management of the converged network.
