CTE Retains Financial Advisor to Review Strategic Opportunities

DALLAS, Pa. -- Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises, Inc. ("CTE") (Nasdaq:CTCO), today announced that it has retained Evercore Partners as its financial advisor in connection with a review of strategic opportunities. CTE noted, however, that no decision has been made to enter into any transaction, and there can be no assurance that any transaction will be entered into or consummated.
