AskMeNow Aligns with Kyocera Wireless to Provide Intelligent Mobile Search and Delivery of Opt-In Mobile Ads; Kyocera Wireless to Offer Pre-Loaded AskMeNow on Select Handsets

Business Wire, Sept 12, 2006

LOS ANGELES -- AskMeNow (OTCBB:OWHC), the leader in intelligent mobile search, today announced that it has entered an agreement with Kyocera Wireless Corp., a leading global supplier of CDMA wireless devices and accessories, to offer AskMeNow as a pre-loaded application on select Kyocera handsets sold to wireless carriers around the world.

Based on carrier requests and approvals, Kyocera Wireless will integrate either a demonstration version(a) or full version of the AskMeNow application onto devices. This will enable users to connect directly to AskMeNow anytime, anywhere and access their favorite content or the Internet, receiving exact and relevant information, no links.

"Kyocera Wireless is all about creating an intuitive, enjoyable experience for the people using our phones and AskMeNow clearly delivers on that promise," said Tom Maguire, Vice President of Global Marketing at Kyocera Wireless Corp. "AskMeNow is an extremely elegant solution for simplifying a search of the vast information and content available to mobile phone users and delivering answers directly to their phones."

AskMeNow gives users the ability to ask virtually any question through the service's proprietary AskMeAnything feature, which requires no WAP browser. Customers will have easy access to a wide variety of content including ringtones and games, along with information such as directory assistance, flight times, headline news, hotels, directions, weather, stock quotes, sports scores and much more.(a)

"Easy access to information for people on the go is imperative and AskMeNow transcends simple queries like checking the local weather or 411," said Walter Kostiak, Vice President, Global Business Development and Carrier Marketing, AskMeNow, Inc. "Consumers today require a simpler search service that still offers access to a world of personalized information as easily as when they are online."

AskMeAnything allows customers to access specific content and information from the Internet by asking questions - anywhere or any time - through a natural-language text-input application directly on their phones. AskMeNow's patent-pending system sends the specific and relevant answers back to the mobile phones in moments, along with targeted and integrated opt-in mobile ads.

(a) Full version of application and content may depend on carrier availability and may require additional purchase.
