Marathon Technologies Teams with PC-PLUS Technologies; Further Expands Sales Reach into Fertile New England Market; Marathon's everRun Line of High Availability Solutions Selected as Cost-Effective Alternative to Clusters

LITTLETON, Mass. -- Marathon Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of high availability software for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) environments, announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with PC-PLUS Technologies, a complete technology solutions provider based in Auburn, MA. Serving companies throughout Central New England, PC-PLUS will offer Marathon's everRun line of high availability products in conjunction its comprehensive technology solutions. The agreement was forged following numerous requests from PC-PLUS customers looking for an effective high availability solution that was less expensive and more effective than traditional cluster technologies.

Under terms of the agreement, PC-PLUS will distribute Marathon's high availability solution to its customers, which include companies in media, retail, legal, manufacturing, transportation and healthcare vertical markets. In addition, the two companies will work cooperatively on joint marketing, sales and lead generation initiatives.
