Peter Lazarus to Join IMG as Senior Vice President, Sports & Entertainment Business Development and Sales; Seasoned Leader Brings Proven Track Record in Olympics, Golf, Tennis and NFL Business Development and Sales

NEW YORK -- IMG, the world's leading sports, entertainment and media company, today announced that Peter Lazarus will be joining IMG on October 8, 2006 as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Sales, IMG Sports & Entertainment. Lazarus will report to George Pyne, President, IMG Sports & Entertainment, and will oversee business development and sales in North America, working closely with all of IMG's divisions. Lazarus will be based in New York.

Lazarus served most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales, NBC Universal Sports & Olympic Sales where he oversaw the sales operations for NBC Universal Sports & Olympics and directed the merger of the NBC Universal Sports & Olympics and USA Sports sales units. He spearheaded NBC's nearly $2 billion sales effort for the 2006 Torino and 2004 Athens Games, a record for Olympic advertising sales. Before that, Lazarus served as the Director of Olympic Sales and was a member of the sales team for the Salt Lake Games that generated $740 million in sales. Earlier in his career with NBC he worked as a Television Network Account Executive in Sports and as an Account Executive for primetime.

Prior to his tenure with NBC, Lazarus was a Vice President at Young & Rubicam Inc., where he launched a sports buying group with clients such as AT&T, US Army, Lincoln Mercury, KFC, and Cadbury Beverages. He has also held positions at Lowe and Partners/SMS and Backer, Spielvogel, Bates.

Lazarus graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Communications. He was named one of SportsBusiness Journal's "Forty Under 40" most promising young executives in the sports business in 2006.
