NEW YORK -- Girls Inc.:

WHAT: The 12-day eBay auction of Mr. Buffett's personal Lincoln Town
Car has officially begun! (Start Date: 6 p.m. ET, Tuesday,
        September 12, 2006)

This one-of-a-kind collectable is going "up for bids" on
behalf of Girls Inc., the premier youth-service organization
that reaches hundreds of thousands of girls, ages 6 to 18,
throughout the U.S. and Canada. And, to "sweeten the deal,"
Mr. Buffett has now confirmed that he will even don a
chauffeur's cap and personally pick up the winning bidder at
the Omaha, Neb. airport when he or she arrives to retrieve the
        car.

The four-door, 2001 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series
registers fewer than 14,000 miles. Featuring a light-gold
exterior, light-beige interior and leather seats, this iconic,
pre-owned car also includes Mr. Buffett's personalized
"THRIFTY" license plate as well as an etched brass plaque
        bearing his signature.

All auction proceeds will be used by Girls Inc. to fund its
many educational programs, which help girls confront subtle
societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare
them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

WHEN**: Auction START: 6 p.m. EST, Tuesday, September 12, 2006

        Auction END: 6 p.m. EST, Friday, September 22, 2006

Bidder Qualification is Required; Pre Qualification Will Be
Available to Interested Bidders Until the Auction's Official
        End-Time.

**To ensure a safe and fair auction, all interested bidders
first must complete the auction's required Bidder
Pre-Qualification process. All bidder pre-qualification will

WHY: Even if you can't invest like Warren Buffett, at least you can
drive like Warren Buffett - and even take a joyride ride WITH
Warren Buffett! In addition to the car, which will come
complete with Mr. Buffett's personalized "THRIFTY" license
plate, the winning bidder also will get to take a
once-in-a-lifetime 'joyride' with the "The Sage of Omaha,"
himself, as Mr. Buffett has promised to personally "drive the
winner to and from the airport when he or she comes to pick up
the car" in Omaha, Neb. Most importantly, though, this fun,
felicitous spin on fund-raising promises to deliver a
far-reaching return on investment, as Girls Inc. helps to
prepare the next generation of females to be trailblazers,
innovators and leaders. To learn more about Girls Inc. and its
