BuyerZone's free RFQ service streamlines the purchasing process by connecting active business buyers with leading local and national suppliers in more than 125 categories - from phone systems, copiers, and payroll services to construction equipment, security systems and modular buildings. 1.5 million registered buyers, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies to public sector organizations, have used BuyerZone to request quotes for major business purchases.
In September BuyerZone received the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award, which recognizes New England businesses with the fastest revenue growth over the previous five years. BuyerZone has earned the Deloitte award each year since 2002 and is one of only three companies to have ever received the honor five years consecutively.
BuyerZone was named a finalist for a Stevie Award in the category of Best Overall Company Up to 100 Employees from The American Business Awards in June. In July, the company received the Model of Excellence Award from InfoCommerce Group, which recognizes the most successful business models related to database information publishing.
"BuyerZone has been quietly and successfully operating a B2B pay-per-lead service long before the pay-per-lead model achieved its current red hot status. As significantly, BuyerZone has constructed a model that provides real value to buyers, while protecting sellers from having to sell on price alone. Indeed, the simplicity of the BuyerZone concept may be one of its greatest strengths," said Russell Perkins, President of InfoCommerce Group.
"Receiving these honors alongside the achievement of our 1.5 millionth registered user and 5 millionth lead is both rewarding and a source of continued motivation at BuyerZone," said Sam Zales, President and CEO of BuyerZone.com. "We're excited about the company's achievements, but we are driven to continue developing innovative ways to streamline the business purchasing and sales processes even further for our users."
