Webinar to Present Trends in Fighting Spam, Zombies, Denial of Service and Spear-Phishing; Michael Osterman Joins Commtouch, F-Secure and Mirapoint at Email Security Online Event
Business Wire, Sept 14, 2006
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Defending against email security threats in the age of zombies, viruses and spear-phishing will be one focus of messaging industry analyst Michael Osterman in next week's webinar on Email Deliverability and Local Reputation.
Joining Mr. Osterman will be messaging security experts from Mirapoint and F-Secure, who are co-sponsoring the event with Commtouch (Nasdaq:CTCH).
The online session will cover how controlling what email messages are accepted by an enterprise email system is increasingly being tied to the reputation of the sender.
Questions to be discussed include:
--How do you use reputation in a mail transfer agent (MTA) to improve email fidelity?
--What should you be looking for in the reputation system that will improve the email experience in an enterprise?
--What does message deliverability mean and why you should be concerned about this?
--How should your system react to quickly changing conditions in the time of email zombies, denial of service attacks, and spear-phishing?
The webinar is taking place on Tuesday, September 19, at 11 a.m. Pacific time, and is free to qualified attendees. People interested in registering should visit: http://www.mirapoint.com/forms/get_campaign.php?cid=70140000000CZU6.
