Business Wire, Sept 18, 2006
NEW YORK -- Mimeo.com, the innovator of online, on-demand printing, today announced that it has been named to the Deloitte Fast 50 list of the fastest-growing technology companies in New York for the second consecutive year. Ranking eligibility is based on percentage revenue growth over a five year period from 2001 to 2005. Mimeo.com has grown 827 percent during this period and ranked 13th out of the top 50 technology companies in the New York area, as identified by Deloitte.
"To be recognized among the top 50 technology companies in New York two years in a row is tremendous," said Adam Slutsky, CEO of Mimeo.com. "This is a tribute to the collective efforts of our team and to our market leadership in providing a solution that delivers high quality business documents and marketing materials with quick turnaround."
"Deloitte's New York Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed in today's very competitive technology environment," said Ed Moran, Director of Product Innovation/Leader Nanotechnology Industry Practice, Deloitte Services LP, New York. "We applaud the successes of Mimeo.com and acknowledge it as one of few companies in this region to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in New York, and be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
Winners of the 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are eligible to be entered into the Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
