SUPERVALU Announces New Advertising Partnership with Dailey & Associates

Advertising Agency will Provide Creative Direction for Recently Acquired Albertsons Banners
MINNEAPOLIS -- SUPERVALU INC. (NYSE:SVU) announced today that it has hired Dailey & Associates, headquartered in West Hollywood, California, and part of the Interpublic Group of Companies, to provide strategic counsel and creative development for its recently acquired Albertsons banners, effective immediately.
"Our goal is to provide an outstanding shopping experience for our customers, and deliver unmatched value at every customer touch point," said Duncan Mac Naughton, SUPERVALU executive vice president, Merchandising and Marketing. "We look forward to partnering with Dailey to develop the brand messages and creative strategy that will support us in this mission."

Dailey & Associates will provide advertising services to the Albertsons, Acme, Jewel-Osco and Shaw's banners. SUPERVALU is currently conducting a search for a chief marketing officer, who will then work with the entire portfolio of SUPERVALU banners to determine the best long-term creative direction for the company.
