Deutsch Partners with iLoop Mobile to "Bail You Out" Using SMS
Business Wire, Sept 28, 2006
Clever SMS Campaign Uses Interactive Phone Messages to Talk You out of a Tight Spot
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- iLoop Mobile, a leader in mobile application software, today announced that Deutsch Inc., a full-service integrated marketing and communications company, is partnering with iLoop Mobile to deliver a fun SMS campaign to get users out of unwanted situations.
For this year's Advertising Week Conference in New York (Sept. 25-29), Deutsch created a print ad featured in the Advertising Week Guide offering a pocket "Bail Out Card" to get you out of any unwanted conversation. The card reminds the user to simply text "BAIL" to 47467 and in a few seconds, a return voice call arrives to bail you out. The amusing pre-recorded individual scripts are self-contained and provide step-by-step instructions to get out of any sticky conversation.
"We've all been at industry functions and unfortunately, at one time or another, we've all been trapped talking to someone we'd rather not be talking to," said Eric Hirshberg, President/Chief Creative Officer, Deutsch LA. "There's never been a graceful exit from that kind of situation. But now there is. We didn't just make this ad as a public service for our peers. If the need arises, we won't hesitate to use it ourselves."
iLoop Mobile is the first choice of content owners, creative agencies, and marketing professionals when it comes to creating, connecting, and controlling mobile marketing campaigns for mobile phones. Partnering with Deutsch, iLoop Mobile is providing the latest in SMS and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology for Deutsch's "Bail Out" campaign. As just one of many components to iLoop's total SMS and content delivery platform, IVR enables an immediate automated or live voice call back to a consumer's mobile phone in response to a standard text message. "We enjoyed working with the creative talent at Deutsch on the 'Bail Out' campaign," said Steve Koskie, CEO of iLoop Mobile. "This campaign is an excellent example of combining creativity and SMS technology to provide a solution for consumer interactivity via the mobile channel."
