Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals to Present at Thomson Financial and BioCentury's: NewsMakers in the Biotech Industry Conference

SHORT HILLS, N.J. -- Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYCC) announced today that Spiro Rombotis, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present an overview of the Company and its pipeline at the 13th Annual Thomson Financial and BioCentury's: NewsMakers in the Biotech Industry Conference in New York. Mr. Rombotis' presentation will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 3:00 pm ET in room 404/405 of the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York, New York. The presentation will be followed by a one hour breakout session in room 410.
The presentation will be webcast live at: www.corporate-ir.net/ireye/conflobby.zhtml?ticker=CYCC&item_id=13. The webcast presentation will be available for approximately 1 year.
