EA's NASCAR 07 Ships Today; NASCAR® by EA SPORTS™ Ships on the PSP® System for the First Time

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) announced today that NASCAR 07(R) by EA SPORTS(TM) has shipped and is available at retail stores. The game is available on the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft and NASCAR(R) will also be available on the PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system. Racing against a full field of 43 competitors, drivers will experience real-word adrenaline as they maneuver their way around the track, hitting speeds of more than 180 mph.
NASCAR 07 allows players to drive with confidence by building up the all-new Adrenaline Meter by surviving some of the most dangerous situations in racing. Through improved car handling, players can adjust their car with a user-friendly sliding scale and gain complete control behind the wheel. All-new driver ratings give players the opportunity to compete against a wide range of drivers with specific attributes, allowing them to have a unique experience on the track every time.
Players can push their car to the limit as all-new effects -- from screen blurring to camera shaking -- highlight every detail of the action. Get a NASCAR 101 racing education in a one-on-one tutorial from Kenny Wallace, then select your favorite driver and invest skill points to reach the pinnacle of the sport: The NEXTEL Cup Series championship.
NASCAR 07 will be in stores starting September 8th and is rated "E" for (Everyone) by the ESRB.
