LAS VEGAS -- Rimini Street, Inc., the leading independent third-party alternative maintenance and support provider for Siebel and PeopleSoft (Nasdaq:ORCL) software licensees, today announced that David Rowe has been appointed vice president, Global Marketing and Alliances. Rowe will oversee worldwide marketing, public relations, lead generation and strategic alliances. Rowe joins Rimini Street directly from Perfect Commerce, where he was the firm's vice president of marketing and product management.

"The addition of Dave represents the next phase of our commitment to hire an experienced executive management team that will take Rimini Street to its next level of growth," said Seth Ravin, Rimini Street president and CEO. "Dave's extensive skills and experience, especially in industry and product marketing, will help Rimini Street continue to meet and exceed its aggressive growth targets."

Rowe is an enterprise software industry veteran with more than 18 years experience formulating, building and marketing technology solutions for both large international software firms and high-growth technology start-ups. Prior to joining Rimini Street, he held senior executive roles in marketing and product management for Perfect Commerce, PeopleSoft and Accenture. Rowe also provided strategic corporate and marketing counsel for C-level executives in emerging technology start-ups, with particular focus on enterprise software solutions and deployments.

"When I conducted my due diligence, I was surprised by the huge opportunity and unmet need in the market," said Rowe. "Enterprise software customers spend billions of dollars a year on annual maintenance and support fees. Yet, these fees continue to increase even as enterprise vendors report record software license update and product support revenues with corresponding profit margins as high as 90 percent."

"After speaking with industry analysts, it became clear that Rimini Street was the leading independent provider of third-party support for enterprise software and the visionary leader with innovative, advanced industry solutions that provide maximum value to Rimini Street clients," continued Rowe. "I am thrilled by the opportunity to align with such a talented management team as we advance Rimini Street to its next phase of growth."
