Clean Energy Files for IPO

SEAL BEACH, Calif. -- Clean Energy Fuels Corp., which provides natural gas fuels for vehicle fleets in the United States and Canada, announced that on September 6, 2006, it filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The offered shares will be sold by Clean Energy and certain stockholders of the company.
W.R. Hambrecht Co., LLC will act as the sole book-running manager for the offering and Simmons & Company International will act as co-lead manager. The public offering price and allocation of shares will be determined primarily by the OpenIPO auction process of W.R. Hambrecht Co. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. When available, prospectuses may be obtained from the prospectus department of W.R.
