DALLAS -- i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITWO) will host i2 Planet 2007 to bringing together some of the world's leading supply chains practitioners for the supply chain best practices event. Industry leaders from automotive and industrial companies will convene May 2 - 4 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla. to discuss industry trends and challenges as well as present success stories and share best practices. i2 customers presenting during the event include Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, Cummins Inc, Caterpillar Logistics Services, CEMEX, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan and Continental AG.

During the event, customers and prospects can participate in industry-specific learning activities. A workshop will discuss how to bridge the gap between engineering and purchasing as well as demand management and volume planning for OEMs. A focused industry session will feature presentations from i2 around solution direction and strategy as well as commentary from Aberdeen Analyst Nari Viswanathan on packaged applications and how to make inroads within the supply chain.
