i2 Automotive and Industrial Leaders to Present Success Stories at i2 Planet 2007

DALLAS -- i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITWO) will host i2 Planet 2007 to bringing together some of the world's leading supply chains practitioners for the supply chain best practices event. Industry leaders from automotive and industrial companies will convene May 2 - 4 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla. to discuss industry trends and challenges as well as present success stories and share best practices. i2 customers presenting during the event include Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, Cummins Inc, Caterpillar Logistics Services, CEMEX, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan and Continental AG.
During the event, customers and prospects can participate in industry-specific learning activities. A workshop will discuss how to bridge the gap between engineering and purchasing as well as demand management and volume planning for OEMs. A focused industry session will feature presentations from i2 around solution direction and strategy as well as commentary from Aberdeen Analyst Nari Viswanathan on packaged applications and how to make inroads within the supply chain. Breakout sessions will explore how industrial companies and automotive OEMs and suppliers are using tools and technologies to enable lean supply chain strategies to deliver the right product to the right place at the right time.
Also during the event, the i2 User Group will host special interest group sessions for i2 users only. These sessions provide users with an opportunity to network and discuss the innovative use of i2 solutions. Customers also have an opportunity to provide i2 with feedback on solution direction.
Overall, more than 75 customers and business partners will share best practices and showcase their success with i2 solutions at i2 Planet in Orlando. Companies from around the globe will convene at the event to discuss how the new generation of supply chain management is changing business today.
