BakBone Teams with StoreVault on Comprehensive Solution to Meet Critical Backup and Recovery Needs of SMB Market
SAN DIEGO -- BakBone Software([R]) (Pink Sheets:BKBO), the leading provider of integrated data protection solutions for Linux, today announced an alliance to deliver BakBone's NetVault([R]): Backup software solution for StoreVault, a NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) division. NetVault: Backup for StoreVault, immediately available, is designed specifically for customers running the StoreVault[TM] S500 network storage solution, which was recently voted Best Product of the Year among storage hardware products in the 2007 Small Business Computing Excellence in Technology Awards. NetVault: Backup for StoreVault leverages BakBone's award-winning Linux[R] data protection solution, which was recently awarded the Datamation 2007 Product of the Year award in the Enterprise Linux category.
The combination of NetVault: Backup and StoreVault provides small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with an easy-to-use and flexible storage solution for both Linux and Windows[R] environments.
