Business Wire, April 17, 2007
SolArc Customers to Benefit From Faster Implementations, Lower Integration Costs, and More Integration Strategy Options
HOUSTON -- SolArc, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise supply, trading and risk management solutions for the global commodities industry, has announced that its flagship product, SolArc RightAngle has achieved "Certified for SAP NetWeaver[R]" status. SolArc RightAngle provides a standard interface framework for different integration scenarios. The certified integration provided between SolArc RightAngle and the SAP NetWeaver platform will result in faster implementations, lower integration costs, and industry best practices.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center has certified that SolArc RightAngle Version S8 properly integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform to exchange critical data with instances of the mySAP[TM] Business Suite family of applications.
"Our customers require flexible ERP integration strategies," said Cynthia Haynie, SolArc CTO. "By working with SAP through its certification process, we have leveraged our considerable experience in building complex custom integration solutions in support of SAP[R] solutions to develop a suite of standardized integration scenarios certified for integration with the SAP NetWeaver platform."
Once implemented, the customer can further extend the interface with the new Process Integration Content. This simplifies both the customer support side and SolArc's support side, while providing a robust interface that can be monitored directly within the application.
Brad Anderson, CEO of SolArc, added, "With a large number of customers that also run SAP solutions, such as Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Tesoro and Tyson Foods, achieving certified integration with SAP solutions was in the best interests of our customers. They will receive tangible operational benefits through accelerated implementations and a reduction in the cost of owning an enterprise solution that includes SolArc RightAngle and SAP. This is the real bottom-line benefit of our relationship with SAP."
"By utilizing Process Integration Content within SAP NetWeaver, SolArc RightAngle customers have a full range of interfaces ready to integrate into their existing systems," said Rob Roberts, Managing Director of EnterSys Group, a SAP Services Partner that worked with SolArc on the integration. "The certified integration of this content is a useful tool for settling SolArc RightAngle transactions within SAP solutions, and serves as a foundation for many advanced applications in other modules between SolArc RightAngle and SAP solution-based back-end systems."
