"As an award voted on by the technology community, it is a great honor for ScanSafe to receive this recognition," said Roy Tuvey, president, ScanSafe. "We're particularly honored because it doesn't just acknowledge achievement related to the Web or security, but recognizes ScanSafe's services as a compelling solution across all Software-as-a-Service companies. This award underscores the significant advantages of the Software-as-a-Service delivery model, particularly for security services, and validates the appeal of our mission to make Web and IM security effortless for businesses of all sizes."
Close to 1,200 companies were nominated in 75 categories for the 22nd Annual CODiE Awards. ScanSafe was selected from six finalists announced earlier this year. Judges for the first round of voting included journalists from industry trade publications, technology writers from mainstream news publications, consultants and other industry experts. SIIA member companies voted in the second round of selection.
"I applaud all the companies selected as winners or finalists in this year's CODiE Awards," said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. "The software and information industry continues to move at a break-neck pace. New technology and business model innovations are constantly emerging and taking root. Being recognized by your peers for getting to and staying at the head of the pack in such a dynamic environment is a major accomplishment, and it is one of the reasons why the CODiE Awards hold such a special place in our industry."
