CHICAGO -- Executives of NEC Corporation said today that the merger of its Visual Systems Division and NEC Display Solutions of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Display Solutions, Ltd., fulfills a strong desire by customers and positions the new company for unprecedented growth. The integration brings the North American projector, plasma display and LCD monitor businesses into one company called NEC Display Solutions of America.
