Penn State Great Valley Has New Certified Treasury Management Course

MALVERN, Pa. -- Penn State Great Valley will offer a new continuing professional education course, Certified Treasury Management. The course will be offered in two different sessions: Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 8 to June 21, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and Saturdays from May 12 to June 23, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Certified Treasury Management course, which is part of the Association for Financial Professionals Certified Treasury Professional[TM] (CTP) program, is designed to provide students with a clear understanding of the day-to-day issues encountered by the treasury and credit functions of a corporation. Among the topics to be covered are: short-term financial management; working capital tools; decision evaluation; and capital structure. Completion of this course enables participants to sit for the CTP[TM] exam and earn the CTP[TM] credential, as well as three graduate credits. Cost is the same as for all three-credit graduate courses at Penn State Great Valley.
