SearchHelp's 'Sentry' Parental Control Software Now Available at Office Depot Stores Nationwide
Business Wire, April 26, 2007
SYOSSET, N.Y. -- SearchHelp, Inc. (OTCBB: SHLP), a leading developer of award-winning, web-based parental control software, today announced that its "Sentry At Home" product is now available in Office Depot locations nationwide. "Sentry" Parental Controls are designed to protect young people from inappropriate web content as well as from the rising number of online sexual predators. "Sentry" provides real-time information to parents allowing them to pro-actively monitor their children's online activities from almost anywhere in the world.
SearchHelp's "Sentry" products enable parents to receive instant email and SMS text messages sent to both their cell phones and computers when questionable online exchanges occur on their children's computers, such as suspicious instant messages or conversations soliciting private or personal information, or attempts to access inappropriate or pornographic material. With the click of a button, a parent's screen can turn into their child's screen to see all activities being conducted, as it occurs. If necessary, the parent can either terminate the application or simply lock down the computer from another computer or by using their cell phone.
"We are very pleased that Office Depot, a leader in selling office and school supplies, is making our products available to its customers" said Bill Bozsnyak, CEO of SearchHelp. "Sentry" Parental Controls are indispensable tools in helping parents defend their children from the growing national threat posed by online predators. Office Depot, with nearly 1,200 stores, is an important component to our growing "retail" distribution strategy."
