Business Wire, April 30, 2007
IRVINE, Calif. -- Taco Bell Corp. today announced that it has successfully converted all of its restaurants to a zero grams trans fat frying oil. All 4,200 single brand restaurants have been converted to a zero grams trans fat canola oil and approximately 1,400 multibrand locations to a low linolenic soybean oil. "We are always looking at ways to improve our ingredients and give our customers more choices. Now they can enjoy their favorite Taco Bell items prepared with zero grams trans fat oil in all our restaurants nationwide."
