LCA-Vision Appoints James H. Brenner Chief Marketing Officer

CINCINNATI -- LCA-Vision Inc. (Nasdaq:LCAV), a leading provider of laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus brand, today announced the appointment of James H. Brenner to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer, effective May 7, 2007. Mr. Brenner will be responsible for all aspects of patient acquisition, including leading the marketing, managed care and call center departments.

Mr. Brenner's marketing and business experience spans more than 18 years. Most recently, he served three years as Vice President Marketing of Nautilus, Inc., where he executed on a strategy that leveraged the strength of the "best in category" brands and built a marketing team to support a $120 million business. Prior to Nautilus, Mr. Brenner spent seven years at The Coca-Cola Company in progressive assignments focused on driving growth of the Minute Maid brand. During his tenure, he established the company's first global juice strategic roadmap, increased brand profitability and developed a capability enhancement system to accelerate innovation capacity and growth. Mr. Brenner served for the previous eight years at The Quaker Oats Company as Assistant Brand Manager, Project Manager, Engineer and Associate Engineer, where his responsibilities included developmental assignments progressing into leadership roles in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and marketing.
Mr. Brenner earned an M.B.A. in marketing from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University.
