TEI Financial Reporting Seminar at Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago
EMERYVILLE, Calif. -- Planitax, Inc., the leading provider of software and services for corporate tax departments, will be participating in the upcoming Financial Reporting for Tax Executives event being held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago on September 27-28, 2007.
The seminar will cover some of the important financial reporting topics of the day. A primary focus of the program will be FIN 48, relating to accounting for uncertain tax positions. There will be presentations focusing on; the unique challenges of state tax issues, avoiding material weaknesses in transfer pricing and other international transactions, working with internal audit, as well as a session devoted to disclosure trends. Seminar participants will receive updates on the fair value option under FAS 159, the continuing challenges of dealing with stock-based compensation under FAS 123R, and IRFS-U.S. GAAP Convergence.
