Former IBM and Merrill Lynch Executives Add Industry and Operational Depth to Meet Growing Demand for MetaLINCS' Enterprise-Class E-Discovery Platform

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- MetaLINCS[TM], inventors of the industry's first enterprise software for intelligent E-Discovery, today announced the appointment of two new executives to its core management team. Former IBM executive Richard Lo joins as Vice President of Sales and will oversee worldwide sales and professional services operations. Former Merrill Lynch executive Mark Reichenbach becomes Vice President for Client and Industry Development, a new position created to enable MetaLINCS' customers to benefit directly from Reichenbach's experience building and guiding discovery response and litigation support teams for some of the world's largest companies and law firms. Lo and Reichenbach add industry and operational depth to a leadership group already rich with experience and success in building and expanding new markets by delivering best-in-class enterprise software solutions.

"Driven fundamentally by the vast amounts of electronic documents involved in corporate investigations and now by the requirement to comply with the new Federal Rules for Civil Procedure (FRCP), organizations are increasingly examining new ways to enable more proactive, strategic and cost-effective discovery processes," said MetaLINCS CEO Ramon Nunez. "The additional experience and talent that Richard Lo and Mark Reichenbach bring to MetaLINCS puts us in the best position to support customers' Discovery needs as they move to address this critical business issue by adopting next-generation software-driven solutions."

Richard Lo brings more than 20 years of experience delivering information technology solutions to enterprises. This experience includes early stage, venture-backed companies, as well as a number of the technology industry's largest organizations. In addition to his sales-related responsibilities, Lo will also oversee the MetaLINCS' Professional Services and MetaLINCS' Customer Support groups.

Prior to joining MetaLINCS, Lo was a senior sales executive in the Information Management Division of the IBM Software Group. He joined IBM in 2004 when IBM acquired Trigo Technologies, where Lo was vice president of worldwide sales. Trigo pioneered and led the category of Product Information Management. Following its acquisition by IBM, Trigo became IBM's foundation for their Master Data Management initiative. Lo has also held senior executive sales positions for Brightware, where he was senior vice president of worldwide sales, and Verity, where he was the vice president of U.S. and international sales operations. Lo holds a B.S.E.E. from The University of the Pacific.

As MetaLINCS' Vice President for Client and Industry Development, Mark Reichenbach will oversee the creation and delivery of a range of customer services addressing specific needs in the areas of electronic evidence, including preservation, legal hold, collection, analysis, production and overall litigation and investigatory readiness planning. Prior to joining MetaLINCS, Reichenbach served as a Director on the Discovery and Regulatory Response Team (DARRT) in the Office of the General Counsel at Merrill Lynch. In this role, Reichenbach oversaw two analyst teams formed to respond to a range of regulatory bodies and opposing counsel. He also headed the organization's legal hold and collection initiatives and assisted attorneys and outside counsel with tactical and technical guidance for "meet and confers" and Rule 30(b) (6) depositions. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Reichenbach worked for more than a decade as a director of litigation support for both plaintiff and defense firms on complex litigation and electronic evidence matters.

Throughout his career, Reichenbach has played an active role in a number of significant industry organizations and initiatives. He has been a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1) since 2002 and has served as a faculty member for The Sedona Institute CLE programs, during which he co-edited Sedona's RFP and Vendor Navigation white paper. Reichenbach is also a member of the Georgetown Law Center's E-Discovery Advisory Board and an experienced CLE instructor.
