Halpin Appointed President and CEO of Stewart Title of Wisconsin

HOUSTON -- Mike Halpin, a divisional vice president for Stewart Title of Wisconsin Inc., has been named its president and chief executive officer.

Former Stewart Title of Wisconsin president and CEO David Silberman will continue to lead as Wisconsin state manager and counsel for the underwriter, Stewart Title Guaranty Co.

Stewart Title of Wisconsin and Stewart Title Guaranty Co. are wholly owned subsidiaries of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE:STC)

A title industry veteran, Halpin was founder and owner of Title One of Waupaca, which was acquired by Stewart Title of Wisconsin in early 2007.

Halpin attended University of Wisconsin - Madison and graduated from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin - Madison Bascom Hill Society, a philanthropic organization supporting the institution. He also has served as councilman for the city of Waupaca and is a Rotarian.
