Maguire Tapped as Chief Operating Officer for Innovative BPM Solutions Provider
VIENNA, Va. -- HandySoft Global Corp., a leading provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that U.S. Navy veteran and former Coca-Cola executive Bill Maguire has joined the company as chief operating officer. As COO, Maguire will be responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, product management, R&D and professional services for HandySoft's expansive offering of BPM solutions including BizFlow([R]) and OfficeEngine(TM).
With more than 40 federal agencies as customers, HandySoft is the dominant BPM solutions provider to the U.S. government. The company is also growing quickly in select commercial verticals, where its innovative new solutions are solving specific business process-related problems.
"Through his impressive Navy career and more recently as a director at Coca-Cola, Bill has developed a deep understanding of both government and private sector needs," said Jae Ahn, chief executive officer and chairman of the board, HandySoft Global Corp. "HandySoft and our customers will benefit immensely from Bill's extensive management experience and leadership."
Maguire retired from the U.S. Navy as a Rear Admiral, where he headed the Navy Exchange Service Command. In this capacity, he led a 16,000 person organization with $2.5 billion in sales. During his tenure, Maguire achieved record sales with all retail outlets surpassing $2 billion for the first time, increased ship store sales by 29 percent, and laid the foundation for the rollout of a retail ERP system.
Most recently, Maguire served as regional logistics director for Coca-Cola Company where he oversaw customer service, transportation and warehousing for the Southern region, from Florida to Texas. In this role, he led a team of 30 customer service and logistics experts and was responsible for a $150 million budget.
"I am thrilled to join HandySoft at such an exciting time for the company," said Maguire.
