NextiraOne Federal D/B/A Black Box Network Services Wins U.S. Army Long Term Life Cycle Support Contract

Contract Ceiling: $127.9 Million Over Five Years

HERNDON, Va. -- Black Box Network Services announced today that they have been awarded the U.S. Army Long Term Life Cycle Support (LTLCS) Contract. This contract supports more than 300,000 Army users on over 800 Nortel1 telecommunication systems worldwide.

The new LTLCS contract was awarded May 15, 2007 with a value of $127.9 million. The U.S. Army LTLCS contract is a five year, firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract awarded to a single prime vendor. This contract will allow not only the U.S. Army, but also other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies to obtain commercial level support services including repair and return, upgrades and expansions for their Nortel telephone systems worldwide.

Black Box Network Services will be responsible for the integration of all products and services for these voice and voice over IP communication systems.

Black Box Network Services, as the Prime on LTLCS, will provide support for the complete Nortel family of telephone switching systems including engineering, furnish, installation, testing and support (EFIT&S). Black Box will provide labor, remote diagnostics, software support and upgrades, hardware upgrades, training and consulting as well as a host of other support features.
