LAVA to Host Panel on Financing Exit Options with Panelists from Fox Networks, Helio, and Credit Suisse
Business Wire, Dec 10, 2007
LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) will host a breakfast meeting at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 to discuss financing exit options for 2008. The meeting is open to members and non-members and will feature panelists Mike Lang, Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy, Fox Networks Group, Todd Tappin, CFO, Helio, and Colm Callan, Director, Credit Suisse.
With the uncertainty of the public markets in the past several years, entrepreneurs and investors are mixing realism with optimism as they evaluate exit options. LAVA has assembled a panel of executive buyers, sellers and advisers to discuss these strategies for private companies in 2008 and how to get to an exit from the first round of funding.
"As we close out 2007, we've put together a stellar panel of well-regarded executives to discuss exit options," said Len Lanzi, LAVA's Executive Director. "The discussion should be lively and should provide some valuable insights for entrepreneurs and growth companies in the LAVA community," he added.
