The Company's President & CEO Joins Six Distinguished Thermal Experts at the Event

NORWOOD, Mass. -- Advanced Thermal Solutions, Inc. (ATS), a leading thermal management and mechanical packaging solutions provider, today announced that Dr. Kaveh Azar, the company's president and CEO will present at the International Workshop on Thermal Design and Management in Electronics, at The Capital Hotel in Bangalore, India on January 7-8, 2008.

Design engineers are dealing with more heat problems than ever before and the task of mitigating those thermal issues within cost and time constraints have never been more challenging. Dr. Azar's presentation, Electronics Cooling: From Air to Liquid Cooling, will provide participants with the analytical and measurement tools for analysis, design and testing of cooling systems for electronics, whether air or liquid. It will also include a review of the basic calculations for thermal design, practical techniques for thermal measurement and an overview of cooling technologies currently available on the market.

Dr. Kaveh Azar is an internationally recognized expert in the thermal management of electronic devices. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer in analytical and experimental methods in electronics cooling. Dr. Azar holds more than 36 national and international patents, is the author of Thermal Measurements in Electronics Cooling and has published more than 75 articles and book chapters.

Other guest lecturers include: Sushil Bhavnani, Ph.D., Auburn University; Timothy Fisher, Ph.D. and Suresh Garimella Ph.D., Purdue University; Yogendra Joshi, Ph.D. and Samuel Graham, Ph.D., Georgia Institute of Technology; and Greg Walker, Ph.D., Vanderbilt University. Each is an expert in mechanical engineering and thermal sciences.

The International Workshop on Thermal Design and Management in Electronics is organized and sponsored by the Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), an institution of the Department of Information Technology, Government of India.
