Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut to Provide Free Video Interpretation Services

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Language Access Network (OTCBB:LANW) (FWB:L9N), the exclusive provider of "Your HIPAA Compliant Network[TM]" for MARTTI[TM], announced today that Bridgeport Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale University School of Medicine and a member of the Yale New Haven Health System, has signed a five-year interpretation service agreement.

LAN will now provide Bridgeport Hospital with its live two way video/audio service known as MARTTI[TM] to nearly 321,000 patients over "Your HIPAA Compliant Network[TM]" the company's nationwide infrastructure designed specifically for the safe transmission of patient interpretation, telemedicine consultation and patient information.

Language Access Network estimates an average of 20 percent of all patients in the United States have limited English proficiency (LEP), are deaf or hard of hearing, or do not speak English well. LAN estimates that each patient encounter in a hospital environment, (ER, labor and delivery, clinic, etc.) lasts between 7 to 12 minutes on the MARTTI[TM] unit.
