Salon City Inc. Reports Banc of America Securities LLC Filing of Form 211
Business Wire, Dec 13, 2007
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Salon City, Inc. (OTC:SLON) reported today that Banc of America Securities LLC (BAS) has filed a Form 211 with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). The form states that BAS has been, and will continue to be, a Salon City market maker for SCI securities as SLON begins trading on the Over The Counter Bulletin Board.
FINRA received the filing yesterday, after Salon City, Inc. announced on Dec. 10th that it had been cleared for OTCBB uplisting by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Salon City, Inc. president and CEO, Steven Casciola, noted, "We're so pleased that Banc of America Securities LLC, which has been a Salon City market maker for one year, has determined SLON's securities are stable and liquid enough to file on our behalf."
Banc of America Securities is the investment banking arm of Bank of America. Along with its UK affiliate, Banc of America Securities Limited, BAS offers trading and brokerage services; debt and securities underwriting; debt and equity research; and advice on public offerings, leveraged buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions. Specialty units focus on prime brokerage, commission management, derivatives, and securitization services. Banc of America Securities' clients consist of corporations (including many Fortune 500 firms), institutional investors, hedge funds, and government entities.
FINRA's compliance department is expected to respond shortly as to when trading can commence.
