Q1 Labs Named Reader Trust Finalist in 2008 SC Magazine Awards Program

Business Wire, Dec 13, 2007

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Q1 Labs, a leading network security management company, has been named a finalist in SC Magazine Awards program for outstanding achievement in information-technology (IT) security. The company's QRadar network security management product was named in the Reader Trust Award Best Event Management Solution category of the competition.

QRadar was among more than 600 entries submitted in more than 30 technology categories. Finalists of the SC Magazine Awards program are determined through voting conducted by the publication's readers. Readers vote for what they view as the solution that is most effective at helping them to address the problems for which it was designed.

"Our 2008 finalists, including Q1 Labs, represent some the industry's leading lights, as judged by our readership," said SC Magazine Editor-in-Chief Illena Armstrong. "Moving into 2008, our readers are recognizing that companies such as Q1 Labs are helping them meet their security challenges."

The annual SC Magazine Awards have recognized security's key contributors and outstanding products for more than a decade. As the industry's preeminent award program, individuals, brands and products short-listed address not only the challenges prominent today, but also the emerging threat landscape of tomorrow.

Winners of this year's awards will be announced at an exclusive awards event to be held in San Francisco on April 8th, 2008.

"We are thrilled that QRadar has been recognized by our customers and SC Magazine's readership in the Best Event Management Solution category," said Tom Turner, vice president of marketing for Q1 Labs.
