Union Bank of California Opens Branches in Orinda and San Ramon

New Offices Are Part of Bank's Strategic East Bay Expansion and Feature Priority Banking Units

ORINDA, Calif. & SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Union Bank of California, N.A., announced today the opening of a new branch in Orinda at 140 Brockwood Road and one in San Ramon's Gale Ranch area at 11000 Bollinger Road. These new offices are part of Union Bank's strategic expansion in the East Bay and contain Priority Banking units, which provide wealth management services for individuals and small business owners.

According to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager Debra Taylor, Union Bank plans to increase the number of its East Bay branches to 17 by March 2008. "We are seeking to fill in some gaps in our branch network and are very excited to be able to extend service to an area where many of our clients already live," she said.

The expansion program began with the opening of a branch in Pleasanton in October. The new Orinda and San Ramon offices bring the current number of East Bay branches to 15 and will be followed by new branches in Moraga and Alamo in the first quarter of 2008.

The Orinda and San Ramon offices offer all traditional banking services, including competitive rates on certificates of deposit, business and consumer loans, safe deposit boxes and investment services. They are open six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
