A strong showing at CES has always been a key part of Paradigm Electronics' marketing strategy. "We value the unrivaled access to media and the opportunity to network with influential industry partners," said Mark Aling, marketing manager for Toronto-based Paradigm Electronics. "This year we will display high performance in-wall, bookshelf and floorstanding speakers as well as compact subwoofers. We will also introduce the new Anthem[R] Room Correction system, a computer-based system that works through the A/V processor to compensate for acoustic problem areas by automatically configuring each speaker's tonal balance for optimized sound."

CES will host more than 20 market-specific TechZones. Several of these TechZones will be at the Sands/Venetian, which also is home to the award-winning Innovations Showcase. These TechZones will highlight the latest innovations, technologies and trends in consumer electronics including IP, Mobile Internet & WiMax, NFC Forum, Podcasting and Robotics. More than 175 conference tracks begin Saturday, January 5, 2008 and focus on key industry segments such as digital imaging, emerging electronics, gaming, in-vehicle electronics, high-performance audio and home theater.

The 2008 International CES has a major focus on home networking and networked entertainment. "CES is the must attend event for the global consumer electronics industry and the best venue to introduce cutting edge new technology for the home networking and networked entertainment sectors," said Jorge Blasco, president and CEO of DS2, the leading semiconductor solutions provider for HD capable powerline communications products, based in Valencia, Spain. "This year we are showcasing our next generation 400 Mbps powerline technology and demonstrating the expanding range of market leading 200 Mbps powerline networking products."

SPiDCOM Technologies travels all around the globe, but CES is its standout show. "We participate in consumer electronics shows all over the world, but none of them reach the quality, the excitement and the prestige of CES," said Radomir Jovanovic, president and CEO of SPiDCOM Technologies, of Bourg La Reine, France. "This year, we will exhibit our mass produced SPC200-e chip for 224 Mbps communications over power line and coaxial cables, as well as several other partner products. We will also unveil our market perspectives for our HomePlug AV chip, compatible with the future IEEE P1901 standard for powerline communications."
