Northwest Technology Companies on Display at the 2008 International CES

More Than 60 Northwest Companies to Exhibit at CES
ARLINGTON, Va. -- More than 60 technology companies from the Northwest region of the United States will showcase their latest consumer electronics products at the 2008 International CES - the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. These exhibiting companies represent more than 30 consumer technology categories, including emerging technologies, gaming hardware and software and digital imaging.
The 2008 International CES runs January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature 2,700 exhibitors debuting their latest innovations in consumer technology throughout a record-setting 1.8 million net square feet of exhibit space.
SIRAS.com recognizes the International CES as the biggest, most influential technology show around. Several key attractions are housed in and around the 2008 CES show floor. Key attractions include: BMW's Sauber F1 Team Pit Lane Park, featuring live racing from the BMW Sauber F1 Team and the Formula BMW Team; Content@CES, a must-see hub in the LVCC Central Hall featuring companies that create, deliver and distribute content; the Digital Imaging Showcase, featuring the latest digital imaging technologies from more than 30 companies; the Gaming Showcase, a key exhibit space highlighting the latest in gaming hardware and software and Wireless World, featuring the entire wireless technology value chain from manufacturers to distribution to content and accessories.
CES will host more than 20 market-specific TechZones. Several of these TechZones will be at the Sands/Venetian which also is home to the award-winning Innovations Showcase. These TechZones will highlight the latest innovations, technologies and trends in consumer electronics including IP, Mobile Internet & WiMax, NFC Forum, Podcasting and Robotics. More than 175 conference tracks begin Saturday, January 5, 2008 and focus on key industry segments such a digital imaging, emerging electronics, gaming, in-vehicle electronics, high-performance and home theater.
Wireless Audio is a major focus for Lakewood, Washington based SoundOn.
