BizRadio Network Buys Houston Station

Business Wire, Dec 21, 2007

Acquisition includes Learning Center and restaurant

HOUSTON -- The BizRadio Network announces today its purchase of a new radio station, the first in a planned series of acquisitions and expansions. BizRadio -- a financial and investment news powerhouse headquartered in Houston -- will begin broadcasting to its Houston-area audience on its new frequency AM 1110 KTEK, February 1st, 2008.

"We're solidifying our commitment to our home base -- Houston -- by purchasing a building and pioneering our flagship station here," says BizRadio Network Founder Daniel Frishberg, host of The MoneyMan Report airing daily on BizRadio. "The incredible success of our growing network is due to our audience members -- their investment in BizRadio reaps huge dividends for everyone."

In addition to housing their expanding studio, the building at Westheimer and Beltway 8 will be home to the new BizRadio Learning Center and a high-end Wall Street-themed restaurant surrounded by plasma screens. The restaurant will share a glass wall with one area of the recording studios. "We're recreating the power lunch," says Frishberg. "Not only will you be able to get a fabulous meal and all the news you need, patrons will be selected for spontaneous on-air interviews during our radio shows."

The Learning Center is the culmination of several years' successful seminars, and driven by the public's need for honest communication about investing. Curriculum will run year-round, with visiting experts augmenting BizRadio's stable of investment stars.

The two-and-a-half year old business news and talk format radio network has experienced rapid growth. Currently providing programming in Houston via a lease arrangement on AM 1320 KXYZ, BizRadio's move to lower dial position 1110 signals its strength in the market. FCC approvals of the station change are complete.

BizRadio's lineup of financial heavy hitters welcomed another home run king last week when the network announced Dr. Art Laffer as a new weekly co-host on Frishberg's daily The MoneyMan Report. Globally renowned economic guru Laffer inaugurated his first show with Frishberg on December 6th. Podcasts and streaming audio are available at www.bizradio.com.

BizRadio continues to broadcast in Dallas-Fort Worth on AM 1360 KMNY, and will make announcements in 2008 about expansions into other top radio markets. "There is a hunger in America -- in the world -- for blunt, no-nonsense conversations about money and how to make it," says Frishberg. "We tell the truth about investing and the marketplace people will never learn anywhere else, and our radio network is expanding because the audience demands it."
