Former SPI Dynamics CEO Brian Cohen Joins Steelbox Networks as President and CEO

ATLANTA -- Steelbox Networks, Inc., makers of network video distribution and storage devices, today announced the appointment of Brian Cohen as President and Chief Executive Officer. Cohen brings more then 29 years of technology executive leadership spanning Internet, IT networking and security solutions companies.
Prior to joining Steelbox, Cohen served as President and CEO at S.P.I. Dynamics, and recently led the company through its acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in August 2007. Under Cohen's leadership, SPI Dynamics was recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte for four consecutive years starting in 2003 and was included in the Inc. 500 in 2005 and 2006.

Prior to SPI Dynamics, Cohen founded Technologic, Inc. in 1992, a pioneer in firewall security appliances, and served as CEO and President until 1999, when the company merged with eSoft, Inc. Cohen has also served in executive management positions with Management Matters, Inc., a private investment and consulting company, and Dun & BradStreet Software and Management Science America, a global leader in enterprise software and services.
