Leading Analyst Firm Positions Antenna Software in Visionaries Quadrant in Multichannel Access Gateways Magic Quadrant 2007

Business Wire, Dec 3, 2007

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Antenna Software, delivering real business mobility to the world's most demanding enterprises, today announced that it has been positioned in the Visionaries Quadrant in Gartner Inc.'s November 2007 "Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Access Gateways (MAG), 2007" report, authored by William Clark and Michael J. King.

Gartner defines MAGs as companies that "provide tools and client/server mobile middleware for highly device- and network-adaptive thick (offline) enterprise applications." According to Gartner, the MAG market will top $1 billion by 2010.1 Antenna, a mobile specialist and one of the larger vendors in the category, is positioned at the center of the quadrant.

"We are pleased that Antenna has been analyzed and positioned by such an esteemed analyst firm," said Jim Hemmer, CEO and president, Antenna Software. "We believe our position at the center of this year's quadrant suggests that not only has Antenna successfully articulated its vision of real business mobility but, just as importantly, successfully executed on it with many of the world's leading enterprises. As mobility continues to become a pivotal focus within the enterprise, IT departments are demanding more balanced, flexible business partners who can address immediate mobility needs while also having a close eye on future mobile technologies and trends."

At the heart of the mobility ecosystem for nearly a decade, Antenna supports the widest array of wireless device platforms, networks and enterprise systems to ensure delivery of the most reliable, flexible and future-proof mobile solutions possible. In April of this year, Antenna debuted the next generation of its Antenna Mobility Platform([TM]) (AMP), a powerful, standards-based technology platform that enables enterprise organizations to design, build, deploy and manage mobile business applications - including composite applications that integrate data and processes from multiple enterprise systems - using one unified environment. Built on AMP, Antenna's proven AMPower([TM]) mobile solutions are designed specifically for field service, field sales and IT support organizations to optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency and better serve their customers through mobility.
