Conference Attendees to Enjoy Free Wi-Fi Worldwide Until December 12
LOS ANGELES & AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands -- Boingo Wireless Inc., which provides access to the world's largest network of Wi-Fi hotspots, today announced that it has enabled a free trial of its worldwide hotspot roaming service for all attendees at Nokia World 2007, taking place Dec. 4-5 at the RAI Congress Centre in Amsterdam.
With this offer, Boingo will keep the estimated 2,500 guests at the annual conference connected to email, streaming media, the Web, and any other broadband applications supported on Nokia dual-mode handsets and Internet Tablets, as well as laptops.
To activate the offer, conference guests simply connect to the SSID "Nokia" at the show, launch an Internet browser and follow the instructions that appear on the network portal. Participants will benefit from automatic login at more than 60 hotspots around Amsterdam, including Schiphol Airport.
The free access will be available Dec. 4-12, after which time users can sign up for a paid Boingo account for one low monthly price.
