Business Wire, Dec 31, 2007

MIDLAND, Mich. -- Televised footage of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's October speech at the University of Michigan will be airing December 31 and January 4 on local television in Midland County.

The 10-term Texas congressman and rising White House contender spoke to a crowd of over 2,000 on October 9, on the University of Michigan Diag. The 40-minute speech called for respect for the Constitution and civil liberties, limited government, the repeal of the income tax, and more.

"Dr. Paul's speech at the Diag was one of the most energizing moments for the campaign in Michigan," said Paul Michigan state coordinator Leslie Roszman. "Over 2,000 supporters were there to rally and hear Dr. Paul's message of freedom, peace, and prosperity, and I'm so glad that Midland residents have the opportunity to see Dr. Paul's speech re-broadcasted this week."

The speech will air on December 31 at 4pm, and January 4 at 6pm, on Channel 3 in Midland County.
