Mobility World Congress Highlights Evolution in the Wireless Industry

Global Growth across All Mobile Sectors Sets Stage for 2008
HONG KONG -- The Mobility World Congress and Exhibition 2008 opened today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre providing attendees a unique opportunity to learn and network with wireless industry leaders from around the globe. Marking its 12th year as a leading event for the mobile ecosystem, this year's event will feature topics such as mobile entertainment and next-generation services. Six congress tracks will be offered, highlighting mobile broadband deployments, emerging business models, wireless devices, network evolution, next-generation services and emerging market opportunities. Over the course of the event, the congress will welcome more than 1000 participants including 200 top level speakers and more than 200 representatives from the press.
The Mobility World Congress encompasses not just enabling technologies, but the rapidly changing dynamics and unifying factors of the mobile industry. This year's event boasts close to 20 sponsors, including Senior Sponsors Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Huawei, Qualcomm and ZTE.

The next edition of the Mobility World Congress and Exhibition 2008 will be held earlier in the calendar at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in Thailand 13-16 October, 2008. During the continued expansion renovations of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center, the event will be moved to the heart of Southeast Asia and accessible to some of Asia's most important emerging markets.
