ARAMARK Names Ron Iori Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs

PHILADELPHIA -- ARAMARK announced today that it has named Ron Iori as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.
Reporting to ARAMARK's Chairman and CEO, Joseph Neubauer, Iori will be responsible for the company's global external and internal communications including media relations, government affairs and public policy, employee communications, corporate philanthropy, and community relations.
"Ron's extensive journalism experience and communications roles he's had in several prestigious corporations make him an excellent addition to ARAMARK's senior team," said Neubauer.
Iori has over 30 years experience in communications, beginning as an editor at newspapers including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Cincinnati Post and Cincinnati Enquirer. He also held communications and media relations roles at Allied Signal's aerospace and automotive businesses.
In 1997 Iori joined Ford Motor Co., holding several positions, including Vice President of Public Affairs for Ford Credit and then Director, Office of the President. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Communications for H&R Block in Kansas City, MO.
Iori holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is past chairman and currently a member of Ohio University's National Alumni Board, past president of the Journalism School's Alumni Society, and serves on the school's Professional Advisory Board. He also serves on the board of the World Press Institute.
