Mass-Market Casual Game Celebrates 75 years Since the Novel's Release
NEW YORK -- Following the chart topping 'Death on the Nile' casual game, which has achieved more than 10 million downloads to date, comes Agatha Christie: Peril at End House, available for free download on casual games portals on December 6.
"Our Agatha Christie games are wholly unique in that their addictive seek-and-find gameplay is presented within the framework of these timeless stories penned by the best selling novelist of all time," says Don Ryan, Oberon Media's SVP of Publishing. "In Peril at End House, a completely new way of obtaining clues has been introduced, immersing players in the story in a way that will engage both Agatha Christie devotees and casual game players alike."
Designed by award-winning game designer Jane Jensen, in Agatha Christie: Peril at End House, Hercule Poirot is again involved in a mystery of murderous proportions. While vacationing on the Cornish coast of England, Poirot and Captain Hastings encounter a mysterious and beautiful young woman named Nick Buckley. Nick is the owner of End House, a supposedly cursed manor on the rocky cliffs of St. Loo. As Poirot soon learns, all is not what it seems in this charming village by the sea.
Oberon Games has again worked with Interactive Rights Management (IRM) and Agatha Christie Ltd, to create this game and bring it to audiences around the world. Megan Goodwin-Patel, Director and Co-Founder of Interactive Rights Management (IRM) adds: "Like its predecessor, Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile, which has achieved more than 10 million downloads to date, Agatha Christie: Peril at End House is a story-driven, seek-and-find game that requires players to solve puzzles to collect and interpret Clue Cards to identify the killer. As the levels increase, and the intrigue deepens and players will be rewarded with exciting new mini-games and a variety of bonus items. To be considered a true genius on par with Poirot himself, players will ultimately need to untangle the sordid mysteries of End House."
Agatha Christie: Peril at End House is available online as a download for the PC at www.oberongames.com, www.agathachristie.com/game, and other top casual games sites.
