How Can Providers Monitor Key Performance Metrics by Customer in MPLS Networks? NetScout to Explain at MPLS World Congress 2007
Business Wire, Feb 1, 2007
WESTFORD, Mass. -- NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), the industry pace-setter for advanced network and service assurance solutions for over a decade, today announced that NetScout's CTO, Bruce Kelley, will present a paper at next week's MPLS World Congress in Paris, France.
Over the past two years NetScout has found a growing audience among service providers seeking a clear view into IP/MPLS traffic from the network, service and customer assurance perspectives. Titled "Gaining Visibility into MPLS Networks to Assure Performance within Layer 3 VPNs", Mr. Kelley's presentation will detail a breakthrough method providers can use to monitor and report on key performance metrics by customer (high value accounts) or by service. This unique by customer or by service view of performance makes it possible to recognize when customer quality of experience and/or service health is compromised, and accelerates Mean Time to Restore (MTTR). Mr. Kelley will present a case study of a service provider that has deployed such technology and realized immediate benefits.
More than 800 attendees are expected to attend MPLS World Congress this year. For more information about the conference, go to http://www.upperside.fr/mpls2007/mplsworld2007program.htm. NetScout will also be exhibiting at the show, in booth 214.
